A Cold, Wet, Windy, Uncomfortable Day…but I’m still having fun…
Today was early bird arrival day here at the Western Gypsy Journal Rally.
And boy was it a mess.
It was cold, wet, windy, and very uncomfortable. It even hailed for a while. But we still managed to get in excess of 180 rigs parked in some semblance of order.
Or maybe, only slight disorder.
But tomorrow should be better. The weather should be warmer and dryer, we hope. And we only have about 70 or so rigs still to come in. We’ll see.
As they say, tomorrow is another day.
Hopefully better.

More of More of the Same…
Today was another day of soliciting door prizes for the Gypsy Journal Rally.
Jan was still under the weather so she stayed home while I trod the bricks begging and pleading.
I’ve had pretty good luck so far. I’ve got about 48 prizes so far with a few more to pickup Sunday and Monday.
About 4 pm we met with Nick to discuss how we’re going to start parking the rigs as they start coming in tomorrow.
Then about 5:45 Jan and I, Nick and Terri, and 3 other couples headed over to Golden Corral for supper. We had a great time talking over the RV lifestyle.
It’s going to be a early morning tomorrow, so this is it for today.
