A Non-Stop Friday . . .

At least at work.

Today was one of those days at work when I walked in the door  at 10:30 and I was already way behind. But I actually like it like that.

It seems like you just sit down, and then you look up and it’s time to go home.

I was able to get our new CubiCubi Dresser Storage Tower put together pretty quickly last night. The instructions were pretty decent for a change, but they really weren’t needed anyway.

And even though we had measured where it would fit, it somehow seems smaller that in the online photos. Of course, doesn’t everything. LOL

Now to decide what to stow away in it.

One of our reader’s, Jennifer, pointed out that that link I gave you about how almost half of U.S. frontline healthcare workers are refusing to get a CoVid vaccine.

That’s what I get for reading one article and then linking to another one. Here’s a synopsis of the other article.

A large number of healthcare workers in US nursing homes and hospitals are refusing to get vaccinated against COVID-19. As much as 80% are turning down a shot in some institutions, according to AP.

Dr. Joseph Varon, a critical care doctor from Houston, has said that more than half of the nurses in his unit are objecting to getting inoculated for political reasons. “Most of the reasons why most of my people don’t want to get the vaccine are politically motivated,” Varon told NPR.

In Portland, Oregon, Dr. Stephen Noble, a cardiothoracic surgeon told AP: “I don’t think anyone wants to be a guinea pig. At the end of the day, as a man of science, I just want to see what the data show. And give me the full data.”

In Ohio, 60% of the state’s nursing home workers have decided against a vaccine, the governor said.

In North Carolina, public health officials revealed that more than half of those working in nursing homes have so far refused to get a shot, according to AP.

A significant proportion of nursing staff in West Virginia is also refusing to get vaccinated. About 45% have said no to a COVID-19 jab, AP reported.

A medical group in Europe has started tracking deaths that appear to be associated the CoVid vaccines, and this is what they have so far.

Finishing up, I’m sure Dr. Fauci will be very disappointed, but there has been

No Surge in COVID Two Weeks After Mask Mandate Lifted in Texas

In fact cases have actually dropped.

The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) posted on Twitter yesterday that Texas saw a seven-day average decrease in the daily number of new cases, hospitalizations, and deaths.

And now Utah and Arizona have dropped their lockdown/mask mandates.

One by one, the dominos are falling..

Hmmm. Nearly all the workers at the care center that is part of our apartment complex have already received the vaccine. I’m not sure how many would have kept their jobs if they refused as that would put the patients at risk and this complex cares about the health of all of us–even to the point of having a fitness center with classes and machines on site that is free to residents.

Listing the number of dead without the total number of people who have taken the shots makes the numbers just more propaganda.  I went to the linked site and a quick look didn’t give me what I needed to make these numbers worth anything.

I looked again, the real prominent headline but no real numbers.

There has been way too much propaganda and control out of this whole thing.

Now see, when I told a former friend, early on in the first days of CoVid, that only a very small percentage of the population were getting the Flu, and an even smaller percentage, less than 2%, were dying from it, he then said that, yes, but what if one of that small percentage, was a close relative or friend, or even you?

To me, it’s the same here. Yes, there have probably been millions of vaccinations in Europe, but what if the 29-year-old nurse, or the 39-year-old teacher, both perfectly healthy, who collapsed and died within minutes/hours of receiving the vaccine, was your wife or daughter?

As always, thanks for your interesting comments.
