Who the #$@# is Honey Boo Boo?
I expected at least one comment about my Honey Boo Boo post. But nothing.
Then this morning Nick asked me who Honey Boo Boo was?
So maybe that’s the problem. Nobody knows who she is?
Honey Boo Boo is the stage name of 7 year old Alana Thompson, who is the star of “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo”. Aired on TLC, it’s one of their top-rated shows.
Her show has been called everything from ‘must-see TV” to a “horror story posing as a reality television program.” It’s also been described as a car wreck you can’t turn your eyes away from.
She got her start on TLC’s Toddlers and Tiaras, a reality show that follows the lives of child beauty pageant contestants and their families, and then was spun off into her own show.
Apparently a couple of days ago someone asked her who she was voting for, Obama or Romney?
She said ‘Obama’, and then ask who Romney was.
Oh well.
Lunch today was a combination of leftover Mexican and Chinese, kind of Mexinese, or maybe Chinican. Whatever, it was really good
After lunch I finished up the affidavits to send off to South Dakota to get our absentee ballots send out to us. So after printing them out and signing I took them over to the Post Office in Colonial Beach and sent them off.
Nick and Terry headed off for the afternoon to visit some friends that live in the area so Jan and I were on our own.
For dinner Jan and I headed into Colonial Beach to have dinner at Fat Freda’s once again. We both enjoyed their soup and sandwiches last time and wanted to give it another shot.
Not sure what tomorrow is going to hold. We’ll just have to see.
