To Mask Or Not To Mask . . .
I stopped off at WalMart this afternoon to drop off a prescription, and besides the employees wearing their required ones, I only saw four customers wearing them, and two of them were disabled and riding in the little carts. They were now letting people in and out both entrances, with only separation between the In and Out lanes.
I was talking to the young lady who took my prescription about the problem they had in wearing the masks. No one can understand each without pulling the mask down, and they get so hot that they’re fanning themselves trying to keep cool, and like Jan, they have to set down in the back and take their mask off to feel better.
And just to reiterate, this evening Jerome Adams, the Surgeon General of the United States, said again that the only reason for you to wear a mask is to protect OTHER people from catching the virus from YOU. It does not keep you from catching the WuFlu from someone else. Of course it you don’t have it, it’s just all wasted uncomfortableness.
But as Dr. Fauci says, just because you got tested today and didn’t have WuFlu, that doesn’t mean you won’t catch it tomorrow. So what now, just get tested every day?
Remember, even the ‘Experts’ don’t agree about masks, with the CDC saying YES and W.H.O. saying NO. So take your pick.
And with all this, Harris County and Houston, TX just mandated today, that starting Monday everyone will have to wear a mask covering your nose and mouth while outside. However Harris County Deputies and Houston Police say they will not be enforcing this law with any strictness. A good thing since violating the mandate will garner you a $1000 fine or 180 days in jail, or both.
But two of the surrounding counties, Montgomery and Galveston, have said they will not be doing this, and that they don’t have the authority to do this, anyway.
And of course, a lot of legal experts, including the U.S. Attorney General, question the legality of measures like this. Now it seems multiple lawsuits are being prepared.

If you’re happy and you know it, it’s probably your meds.
