Texas Hot and More . . .
Catching up on yesterday, we had lunch once again at The Cookshack. But unlike our previous visits, I didn’t go for the superhot AMF tenders, but just stayed with their normal hottest hot, Texas Hot.
I decided to try the Ribs and 2 Tenders, with both done Texas Hot, along with their Sweet Potato Waffle Fries.
I really liked the fries, since unlike all the other Sweet Potato fries, these had just a light sprinkle of salt, the perfect complement to the sweet.
Though I ate ALL the sweet potato fries, I only ate one of the Tenders and half the Ribs, so I had the rest to take home.
Really good.
Jan had her favorite Shack Salad with a Medium Tender on the side.
Tomorrow we’ve got a get-together with old Alvin Opry friends, this time at the Texas Roadhouse here in Webster. Really looking forward to it.
Then next Thursday we’ve got another get-together with our RV friends, Debi and Ed Hurlburt, this time at the El Palenque up in the Spring area.
More Fun!
In a previous blog I told you about the Brach Candy Company’s ode to Thanksgiving Dinner.
Well, today I came across this hilarious Facebook post reviewing the holiday goodness of their Thanksgiving Candy Corn medley.
Check it out.
