More Gogh . . .

First off Jan wants to thank everyone for all the many Birthday Greetings she received.

I also got some emails about yesterday’s blog title, My Cougar Is Back. It refers to the fact that with Jan’s Birthday, we’re back to our usual Cougar/BoyToy situation, since she’s now a year older than me once again.

Here’s a couple of more photos of the Immersion Van Gogh exhibit from yesterday.

Even the videos I posted yesterday don’t convey how impressive this all is.

This one is done by the same guy that did the one we saw in Paris in 2019. So we were happy to find that it was not just the same performance, but completely different.

And we’ve still got another one next month, this time with Brandi, Lowell, Landon, and Sophie. Really looking forward to it.

Afterwards, our next stop was at the Trader Joe’s out in Katy for a few things she’d seen on sale. Next we had planned to head back down to Webster to have Jan’s Birthday Dinner at our favorite Saltgrass Steakhouse, but we decided we didn’t want to wait that long that, so drove over to Mason Rd. to that Saltgrass.

Our steaks were as delicious as always, but the highlight of the meal for Jan was her own piece of Pumpkin Cheesecake. No splitting with me this time.

Jan declared it a very nice birthday.

Influenza Is More Dangerous To Kids Than COVID Is, So Why Doesn’t The CDC Recommend Masks For The Flu?

In stark contrast to the Center for Disease Control’s recommendations that all people over the age of two wear a mask indoors to mitigate transmission of SARS-COV-2, the sections of its website dedicated to seasonal influenza do not recommend wearing masks to prevent it from spreading.

Since the battle over mask mandates is most intense with regard to schools, it’s crucial to point out the pediatric mortality rate derived from the CDC’s estimate of flu mortality is comparable to its estimate of COVID-19 mortality among children. The CDC attributes 542 deaths to COVID among those aged 0-17 total over the past 18 months, while estimating influenza deaths for the six-month 2019-2020 season at 486, as of this writing. Assuming these numbers are fairly accurate, this means the risk of flu-related death for children and teens is greater than for COVID.

mRNA Vaccines WEAKEN Immune System Even After Covid Recovery, According to UK Data

Covid-19 vaccines appear to inhibit the body’s natural ability to produce antibodies, leaving vaccinated people vulnerable to infection.

The alarming information was contained in the UK government’s latest “Covid-19 vaccine surveillance report,” which noted that “N antibody levels appear to be lower in people who acquire infection following two doses of vaccination.”

“What the British are saying is they are now finding the vaccine interferes with your body’s innate ability after infection to produce antibodies against not just the spike protein but other pieces of the virus,” Berenson explained.

“Specifically, vaccinated people don’t seem to be producing antibodies to the nucleocapsid protein, the shell of the virus, which are a crucial part of the response in unvaccinated people.”

The result is “vaccinated people will be far more vulnerable to mutations in the spike protein EVEN AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN INFECTED AND RECOVERED ONCE,”

Don’t you feel better now?

Thought For The Day:

When Grandma wants Christmas presents for the grandkids, she’s going to get Christmas presents, one way or the other.
