Under The Weather . . .

No blog tonight since I’ve felt rotten all day.

Sore throat, headache, and a slight fever.

It’s possible I’ve got Strep Throat since Landon was diagnosed with it yesterday, and I was around him on Monday, which is within the 2 to 5 day incubation period.

Hope I’ll feel better tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.

Happy Thanksgiving

Wanna stay healthy? Stay away from kids, they’re little germ factories. At least that’s the conclusion I came to when I got sick after every time we babysat our grandkids. Even when I worked at the library & had people sneezing & coughing in my direction & handing me books with hands that may or may not have been washed I didn’t catch nearly as much as I did from the grandkids.  Happy Thanksgiving & hope you feel better soon.

Bummers Greg…just don’t let them give you Cipro for it.  Hubby took that for an infection a couple years ago and has been going downhill ever since…it began almost immediately with a tendon snapping in his leg…but it has continued now with other parts of him it seems.  One of our friends daughter’s life was ruined by that stuff…she has been an invalid ever since and she is quite a lot younger than we are.  Sad.  They got a settlement from the company.  So the question remains as to why they are still selling it?  I guess this is their solution to the ever increasing problem with antibiotic resistance now.  But do be careful…
